Extra Soul Perception is a collaboration and community music platform that started life between the United Kingdom, Kenya and Uganda but is now continuing to grow and connect independent musicians worldwide. “Inevitable Winters” is a spotlighted track from the collaborative efforts of British DJ and producer K15 and British rapper, Lex Amor.
“Epiphany” is taken from the latest “There In Spirit” full length album by the Queens and New York City alt rap star, Homeboy Sandman. The track delivers smart, quick fire lyrics about ageism and being an individual.
A far departure from SAULT’s previous funk, soul releases, but still, “Air” is a brave, bold and sonically superb listening experience. “Reality” is a standout track.
“IDFK” is delicate, heartfelt and deeply resonating. Toronto Canada’s Rowena Fysx creates future rhythm and blues for the troubled soul within all of us.
