Favorite restaurant in Philly? Philadelphia’s restaurant scene is so awesome! I absolutely love Dmitri’s! Quaint, sexy and delicious!.
Best place to shop in Philly (food, clothes, gifts, jewelry, etc). Select one? Since I’m a foodie, I’m going to go with The Reading Terminal Market! A true Farmer’s Market with flair. You can basically purchase everything you need without breaking the budget and get a good Amish meal too!
What is your one favorite “best kept secret” about Philly? Something that you and only a few others know about but everyone should… The abundance of BYOB’s! The close-knit neighborhoods of Philadelphia make it perfect for a great dining experience especially when you can bring your favorite spirit. They tend to focus more on the flavors of food and are relatively inexpensive.
What makes Philly your Philly? What do you absolutely love about the city? There are a lot of firsts in Philadelphia! The first African American newspaper, The Daily Newspaper, the Italian Market, the Farmers Market, The Walnut Street Theatre, and Jewelers’ Row… just to name a few. And of course, cheesesteaks and water ice!
