This year, organizers have raised the stakes with two chilling new experiences: Dark Tides, an eerie journey into an abandoned fishing village haunted by a siren’s curse and sinister secrets, and Apocalypse Pass, an outdoor scare zone set amidst the chaotic aftermath of a broken containment line—where every corner hides a fresh terror. These new offerings are complemented by redesigned staging throughout the complex, giving returning guests even more reason to revisit the nation’s most notorious prison-turned-fright fest.

The festival’s new hybrid event flow allows guests to move through the attraction seamlessly, combining linear storytelling with open exploration. No more stop-and-go haunted house lines—this year, the journey through the complex unfolds in four cinematic acts, making the entire experience smoother, scarier, and more theatrical.

For those craving a deeper plunge into the fear, the optional “glow necklace” returns. Guests who “opt in” by wearing one may be singled out—grabbed, pulled through hidden doors, and separated from their group. It’s not for the faint of heart—but then again, Halloween Nights never was.
