Miracle on 8th Street Transforms Craftsman Row Saloon into Philly’s Ultimate Holiday Wonderland
Step inside Craftsman Row Saloon this season and you’ll step into another world entirely—one where over 60,000 ornaments shimmer overhead, garland drapes from every surface, and four-foot nutcrackers stand guard over steaming cocktails and towering milkshakes. Miracle on 8th Street is back and brighter than ever, bringing Philadelphia its most immersive holiday pop-up yet.
This family-run saloon has earned a national reputation for its annual over-the-top holiday transformation. George and Vasiliki Tsiouris, the sibling duo behind the magic, have pulled out all the stops for the 2024 edition: expect 20,000 lights, 6,000 feet of garland, massive nutcrackers, glittering chandeliers made of ornaments, and even a 70-foot train track suspended from the ceiling. Outside, the four-story twinkling light show captures the wonder before guests even step inside.
From Santa’s Letters Mailbox to a glowing banquette adorned with candles, snow-dusted windows, and nostalgic carol lyrics, every inch of Miracle on 8th Street is curated to stir joy and ignite the holiday spirit.
Miracle on 8th Street: Festive Flavors That Match the Magic
The show-stopping decor is only half the story. Miracle on 8th Street delivers an equally enchanting menu of holiday food and drink that turns tradition on its head in all the right ways. Specialty cocktails are crafted to match the spectacle, including the Peppermint-Ini with vodka and candy cane, and the Jingle Bell’s Margarita served with a light-up necklace.
Guests can sip Spiked Hot Cocoa from keepsake mugs or try the Partridge in a Pear Tree cocktail garnished with edible glitter.

Milkshake lovers are in for a treat with four outrageous creations: the “All I Want for Christmas” eggnog and sugar cookie shake; the “Mint to Be Merry” with red velvet cookies and candy canes; “Santa’s Cookies” topped with chocolate chip cookies and drizzle; and “Pumpkin to Talk About,” complete with a pumpkin pretzel stick and edible fall leaves.
Foodies will appreciate the whimsical take on seasonal classics. The Gobbler burger stacks turkey patties, stuffing, cranberry, and yams, while the Christmas Dinner Burger fuses holiday sides between two beef patties. For something unexpected, try the Rudolph Burger with lamb, roasted red pepper, feta, and pomegranate-onion relish, or the Shepard’s Sleigh Pie—Craftsman Row’s take on the beloved comfort food.
The menu also features White Christmas Pizza-Calzone mashups, Winter Wonderland Pasta with mushroom alfredo and pears, Buffalo Chicken Wreaths, and the Holiday Havana Cuban Sandwich with a seasonal chutney twist. Every plate is designed to be as memorable as the décor it’s served beneath.
Miracle on 8th Street: A Holiday Experience for All Ages
Now open seven days a week at noon through January 2025, Miracle on 8th Street is a family-friendly destination by day and a festive cocktail hangout by night. It’s an experience that’s as rich in nostalgia as it is in flavor—perfect for family outings, date nights, or a seasonal pick-me-up.

“Christmas holds a special place for our family,” says George Tsiouris. “We have taken Craftsman Row to dazzling new heights – adding even more sparkle, nostalgia, and heartwarming details to the experience… We wanted to go for wow factor when you came in the front door, but we also want you to discover all the fine, small details hidden throughout the space.”
This holiday season, whether you’re looking to warm up with Fireside Chats, indulge in Donut Fried Chicken topped with maple syrup, or marvel at a ceiling dripping in Christmas cheer, there’s only one place that captures it all. Miracle on 8th Street isn’t just a meal—it’s a moment.
