A Purposeful Blend of Style and Sustainability
In honor of World Sustainability Day, the Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia is hosting a stylish celebration with purpose: the Sustainable Fashion Pop-Up, an evening event designed to give pre-loved fashion a second life. Happening on Wednesday, October 29, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the hotel’s chic Alexander Ballroom, this one-night-only affair redefines the closet clean-out with both heart and high style.
The Sustainable Fashion Pop-Up is a collaboration between Hyatt Centric and The Wardrobe, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit committed to eradicating clothing insecurity. The result is a carefully curated shopping experience that highlights sustainability in an authentic, community-driven way. Not only is this event about repurposing garments, but it also stands as a vibrant example of how fashion can intersect with social impact—and still look incredible while doing it.
“We’re proud to create a space where sustainability and style come together in a way that’s approachable, community-driven, and fun,” said Elizabeth Fricke, Director of Sales & Marketing at Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia. The hotel’s mission of connecting locals and guests through meaningful, one-of-a-kind experiences comes to life in this creative partnership.
The Tastemakers Behind the Racks
Take note of Sustainable Fashion Pop-Up’s lineup of fashion-forward contributors—local influencers and style personalities who are opening their wardrobes for a cause. Their gently-worn pieces, each with its own story and flair, will be available to the public at accessible prices. It’s a rare opportunity to shop statement styles that blend real influence with real sustainability.
Featured tastemakers include Greg Berzinsky, known for his silver-bearded sophistication; Ashlee Favro, a master of elevated everyday chic; and Fiona Golden, a 2025 Philadelphia Magazine Lifestyle Influencer Finalist with a bold eye for color and pattern. Joining them are Ivette, a fashion and lifestyle voice promoting body positivity; Grace Mihalich, with her serene aesthetic; Billie LaRaé Owens, a digital host with style to match her media savvy; and Brittiny Stewart, one of the city’s top lifestyle authorities.

Each tastemaker contributes unique flair and authenticity to the event, which presents as an intentional style moment curated by people who set the tone for Philadelphia fashion.
Sip, Shop, and Connect at the Sustainable Fashion Pop-Up
Beyond the racks, the Sustainable Fashion Pop-Up is designed to be a full evening experience. The Hyatt Centric’s stylish restaurant, Patchwork, will provide a satellite bar, offering a curated selection of wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages to sip while you shop. The event is open to the public, and pricing is pay-as-you-go, ensuring accessibility for all.
Whether you’re hunting for a new statement jacket, wanting to meet the influencers behind your Instagram inspo, or simply looking to participate in a sustainability-driven social experience, this event checks every box. It’s a reminder that making mindful choices doesn’t mean sacrificing style—and that fashion can, and should, do more than just dress us. It should connect us, inspire us, and make a difference.
