That’s a genuinely rare combination of late-night television credits and critical recognition to bring to a regional venue on a Thursday night.

Yoder spent 21 years teaching in Pennsylvania public schools before trading the classroom for comedy clubs, a background that now fuels his Bored Teachers Comedy Tour work and his own touring show, Bring It On Comedy, built around his “America’s Favorite Cheer Dad” persona. He’s also appeared on Netflix’s Tires and serves as Director of Operations for the American Comedy Institute in New York City.

Green rounds out the headliners as a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer of his own animation series, while host Bronston Jones spent a decade as resident host of Venice Underground Comedy, LA’s biggest independent weekly show, and has performed seven separate solo hours at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

That kind of resume, a decade running one of the country’s most respected independent comedy rooms, is exactly the credibility a night like this needs behind the microphone.

Comedy Night at Grounds for Sculpture Comes With Its Own Food and Drink

The Peacock Cantina and Bar, inside the Domestic Arts Building, stays open through the show with Mexican-inspired street fare and drinks. Guests looking to make a full evening of it can stop by Rat’s Restaurant beforehand for pre-performance happy hour specials and discounted dining, part of the same programming that’s already brought art-and-wine pairings to the grounds this fall.
