Concerts Under The Stars hits its 40th season this summer with a lineup that stretches from May through October at Upper Merion Township Building Park in King of Prussia. Presented by Rising Sun Presents — the team behind Ardmore Music Hall and 118 North in Wayne — Concerts Under The Stars has grown from a three-show series on a mobile stage in 1985 into a 20-plus event summer program that draws tens of thousands of fans to one of the best outdoor music venues in the Philadelphia region

This year’s schedule includes Shakey Graves, Indigo Girls, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Béla Fleck Trio, Tortoise, Joan Osborne singing Bob Dylan, Watchhouse, Neal Francis, Collie Buddz, Magic City Hippies, and God Street Wine, among others.

The Full 2026 Schedule for Concerts Under The Stars

Concerts Under The Stars opens May 22 with Boat House Row’s yacht rock tribute and builds momentum through a schedule that touches folk, indie, bluegrass, reggae, jam, post-rock, and tribute territory. June is stacked: Grateful Shred on the 5th, Shakey Graves on the 10th, Indigo Girls on the 12th, Hurray for the Riff Raff on the 19th, Béla Fleck Trio on the 25th, and Tortoise on the 26th. What Makes Concerts Under The Stars Different

Concerts Under The Stars transforms the lower level of the venue parking lot into a beer garden with local food trucks, craft brews, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. Since Rising Sun Presents took over production in 2022, the series has scaled significantly — bringing in nationally touring headliners, larger production, and a mini-festival environment that treats the park as a proper outdoor venue rather than a municipal afterthought. Premium GA tickets include early entry, a free beverage, complimentary snacks, comfort station access, and merchandise discounts.

Owner Chris Perella called the park a hidden gem and the entire experience one of the absolute best for outdoor live music in the Philadelphia region. That is not an overstatement. For anyone in the northwestern suburbs who has been driving into Center City or down to the Delaware waterfront for every outdoor show, Concerts Under The Stars puts world-class touring acts in your backyard — literally.

40 Years of Concerts Under The Stars

The series launched in 1985 at the Upper Merion Cultural Center on Moore Road with just three concerts on a mobile stage. Four decades later, it has expanded into a full-season program of 20-plus events at Upper Merion Township Building Park, drawing a multigenerational audience that treats the series as a summer tradition. The progression from a modest community series to a professionally produced concert program backed by one of the region’s most respected independent promoters is exactly the kind of suburban cultural infrastructure that the greater Philadelphia area needs more of.

If you have been keeping track of how Philadelphia’s music scene is programming this spring and summer, Concerts Under The Stars belongs on the calendar alongside the best of what the city proper offers — with the added advantage of open sky, easy parking, and a community atmosphere that the big downtown venues cannot replicate.
