Jansen is reintroducing the Jansen Dinner Lab on Thursday, March 20, at 6 PM, with dinner service beginning promptly at 6:30 PM. Known for its immersive and experimental approach to fine dining, the Lab will take you on a five-course blind tasting adventurous meal.
The Jansen Dinner Lab will spotlight cheeses from The Farm at Doe Run, a creamery in Chester County. Made from the milk of grass-fed cows, goats, and sheep, these cheeses offer complex, distinctive flavors that will spark culinary creativity.
A Blind Tasting
Each course of the Jansen Dinner Lab will be designed and prepared by a different member of Jansen’s talented culinary team. You will experience the excitement of a blind tasting, with each dish revealed only upon arrival at the table. You will then vote on your favorite course of the night, with the winning dish earning a spot on Jansen’s seasonal dinner menu.
Miguel Vivanco, the head cheesemaker at The Farm at Doe Run will also be in the Lab to discuss the intricacies of the cheesemaking process and the flavor profiles of the cheeses that inspired the dishes of the evening.
Reservations and Pricing for Jansen Dinner Lab
The Jansen Dinner Lab experience is priced at $125 per person, with an optional wine and cocktail pairing available for an additional $75 per guest. Capacity is set at 50 guests, with a maximum of six people per reservation. Reservations are required.
The next Jansen Dinner Lab is scheduled for Thursday, June 26.
