Craftsman Row celebrates Mardi Gras in Philadelphia with a taste of New Orleans Pop-Up experience.
Craftsman Row Saloon is gearing up to host its unique Mardi Gras Pop-Up experience, promising to bring the vibrancy and energy of New Orleans’ most celebrated season to the heart of Philadelphia. From January 26th to February 24th, this year’s festivities are set to be the most memorable yet, with a range of Mardi Gras-inspired decorations, cuisine, and cocktails.
Craftsman Row Saloon will be transformed into a Mardi Gras haven, offering the only Mardi Gras bar experience in Philly, showcasing an array of New Orleans classics, including the King of Bourbon Street Milkshake, King Cake Fries, and Dirty Rice. In addition to these signature dishes, they will also introduce new additions to their menu, such as Po Boys, Donut Bread Pudding, Crawfish Mac N Cheese, Big Easy Burger, Jambalaya, and more, alongside their signature cocktails and sake.
The ambiance at the saloon is set to transport patrons directly to The Big Easy, with thousands of glittery beads, feathers, masquerade masks, and other decor filling the space. Umbrellas hang from the ceiling, and jazz instruments line the walls, creating a backdrop that celebrates New Orleans’ most famous streets and destinations. All this is complemented by the sounds of Mardi Gras classics, festive jazz, and even some Mummers’ favorites, curated by DJ Shaun.
The Mardi Gras Pop-Up hours are tailored to extend the celebration, with the saloon open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from noon to midnight, and Sunday from noon to 11:00 pm. This extended schedule through late February is a testament to the event’s popularity and the desire to offer guests more time to revel in the festivities.
Speaking about the event, Vasiliki Tsiouris expressed her excitement, stating, “We are excited to bring our Mardi Gras Pop-Up Experience back to Philadelphia. You can be the King of Bourbon Street with our over-the-top milkshake with real King Cake. It was great to bring the spirit of Bourbon Street and The Big Easy first to the scene and we have added more this year, all geared to totally envelope the senses with the sights, sounds and tastes of Mardi Gras.”
