Celebrate National Margarita Day on February 22, 2024, at 16 top bars and restaurants in Philly and the ‘burbs, featuring daily specials.

National Margarita Day, the second most popular holiday for margarita lovers outside of Cinco de Mayo, is on deck, and a selection of Philly restaurants and bars are gearing up to celebrate the holiday in style. From classic to flavored, on the rocks to frozen, from salt rims to sugar, and everything in between, area restaurants will roll out specials and features all day with everything from $20 pitchers, special flavors, margarita flights, unique flavors, food features and happy hours.

Taqueria Amor on Main Street in Manayunk is currently offering a special margarita called Cruel Summer, inspired by Taylor Swift, made with grapefruit and blood orange frozen margarita with elderflower liqueur float on top. The drink is garnished with a mini disco ball and lime, giving you a little fun with your meal. To make the experience even better, they offer a special deal on quesadillas, with $3 off all day. If you’re there for lunch from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, they offer $8.95 Amor and Frozen Margaritas and $35 Amor margarita pitchers. And if you’re there for happy hour from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, enjoy $2.50 off all Amor and frozen margaritas.

Al Pastor offers $20 pitches from open to close all day at the bar and bar lounge/high tops. All flavors include Traditional Lime, Al Pastor, Strawberry, Mango, Blood Orange, Cucumber Jalapeno, Pomegranate, and Passionfruit. Enjoy food pairings and specials from 4 to 6 pm, like Chip and Salsa, Chips and Queso, Chips and Guac, Dragon Tots, Nacho Baby, Fried Crispy Wings, and Happy Quesadillas. From 6 to 8 pm, enjoy a special Margarita Day with Trivia and Jeremy.

Stove and Tap in Lansdale is celebrating National Margarita Day with all-day specials. They are offering $20 pitchers of margaritas from open to close, but only for those sitting at the bar and high tops. They have various flavors, including Traditional, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Apple Cider, Pineapple Jalapeno, and others that rotate. If you can’t make it during the day, they also have happy hour specials from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, where you can enjoy $6 margaritas by the glass. They also have some fantastic Happy Hour food specials, including $4 Wagyu Sliders, $4 Bao Buns, $5 Tap Fries, $1 Oysters, $8 Flatbreads, and many more options.

Añejo Philly, located in the Northern Liberties Restaurant Row, celebrates National Margarita Day with a special National Margarita Day Happy Hour from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with an expanded pitcher selection that is all half off – including Blanco, Anejo, Mezcal, and Jalapeno – plus $5 tacos (Chicken Al Pastor, Cauliflower, Pork Carnitas, and Crispy Fish), and discounted Birria Nachos, Elote, Nachos, Carnitas Fries, Chicken Empanadas, Guacamole and more. Also, look for unique margarita flavors and features they will announce next week.

Pistolas Del Sur will serve unique margarita flavors, such as pineapple balsamic margaritas and spicy melon mezcal margaritas. Watch for more details regarding unique food pairings and other exciting announcements.

Revival Pizza Pub is also celebrating National Margarita Day with an all-day special offer of $20 for pitchers, available only at the bar and high tops.

If you’re in the mood for a Day of the Dead-inspired ambiance and are in the Midtown Village area, head over to Sueno. Sueno offers a 20% discount on all margarita pitchers at lunchtime and beyond, featuring flavors like Classic, Mango, Guava, and Strawberry.

Buena Onda, the Baja-inspired taqueria, has two locations in Philadelphia, one in the Fairmount/Art Museum area and one in Radnor on the Main Line. Celebrate National Margarita Day with their special Margarita Day ALL DAY features: Prickly Pear Mango Margarita with spiced sugar chili rim for only $8.50, plus Margarita Quesadilla for $6 with cheese, salsa, essential with a side of sour cream and chicken tacos only $3.00. During Margarita Day Happy Hour, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, enjoy half-priced margaritas, $1 chips and salsa, and $3 fish tacos. Happy Hour margaritas will include Classic, Baja, Frozen, and Seasonal Frozen, with flavors that include Guava, Mango, Pineapple, Prickly Pear, Strawberry, and Watermelon.

Cantina Dos Segundos in Northern Liberties will have $8 house margaritas with different fruity flavors, $9 Raspados Mexicanos, and $6 virgin margaritas. El Camino Real, also in Northern Liberties, will offer half-priced margaritas from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, $8 frozen swirled margaritas, and $15 special margaritas made in fresh pineapples. GBU Good Bad Ugly in West Chester will have Margarita Boots for $15 all night, while Goat’s Beard in Manayunk will feature their special 30-Day Strawberry Margarita.

Grace and Proper in Italian Market will offer a classic craft margarita for $8 made with 100% blue Weber agave. La Roca in Manayunk will also have “The Rocks People Margarita” and Watermelon La Roca Rita made in a shell of a watermelon. All margaritas are made with freshly squeezed lime juice.
