Stile by Per Lei will open its seventh location this August at Gateway Shopping Center, 125 E. Swedesford Road in Wayne, bringing the brand’s curated collections and personalized styling to one of the Main Line’s busiest retail corners. The new boutique sits alongside Trader Joe’s and Starbucks, giving Stile a high-visibility spot in a shopping center its Wayne-area customers likely already frequent.

For founder Candice Caprice, the Wayne opening is less about expansion for its own sake and more about closing a gap that already existed. “Wayne has always felt like a natural fit for us,” Caprice said, noting that many of Stile’s Newtown Square and Suburban Square customers already live and work in the area.

Stile by Per Lei’s Approach to Getting Dressed

The Wayne boutique will carry Stile’s signature aesthetic into its seventh location: natural textures, neutral tones, and an atmosphere built to make getting dressed feel inspiring rather than overwhelming. That philosophy has anchored the brand since its first store, treating a wardrobe as more than just clothing, and framing the boutique itself as part of the styling experience rather than simply a place to browse racks.

“We believe style has the ability to set the tone,” Caprice said, framing getting dressed as a daily opportunity to show up as your best self, whether that means heading to work, meeting friends, or simply running errands.

Stile by Per Lei’s Main Line Roots

Stile by Per Lei operates under the same ownership as Per Lei Boutique, the Main Line fashion retailer Caprice co-founded with Bruce Middleman in October 2007. Middleman brought more than 35 years of fashion-industry buying experience to that original store, while Caprice’s own background includes styling national commercials and wardrobing celebrities, a combination that shaped Stile’s personalized approach to retail from the start.

The Wayne location opens just as fall collections begin arriving, one of the busiest stretches of the retail calendar for the brand. Shoppers can expect a mix of everyday wardrobe essentials, trend-forward pieces, and full head-to-toe styling, the same formula Stile has built across its Newtown Square and Suburban Square stores.

That formula has carried the brand from a single storefront to seven locations across Pennsylvania and Delaware, growth Caprice credits less to chasing new markets and more to following where existing customers already spend their time. Gateway’s mix of daily-errand tenants, grocery, coffee, everyday stops, fits that pattern directly, positioning Stile inside a customer’s routine rather than asking her to go out of her way for it.
