Stouts and Snouts is built for hoodie weather, a little bite in the air, and that early-spring itch to get out of the house and make a day of it. On Saturday, March 14, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, the Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement District will bring back its deliciously offbeat, neighborhood-wide celebration of bold brews, cocktails, and pork-inspired morsels, with plenty of plant-based options in the mix as well. Stouts and Snouts is free to attend and pay-as-you-go, meaning you can build your own perfect route—one stout, one snack, one cheers at a time—while supporting the local bars and restaurants that give Fishtown its unmistakable pulse.

This year’s Stouts and Snouts roster reads like a love letter to the corridor’s best hangouts: Bar Palmina, Barcade, Brewery ARS, Evil Genius Beer Company, Fette Sau, Frankford Hall, Garage, JB’s, Johnny Brenda’s, Lloyd Whiskey Bar, Murph’s Bar, Other Half Brewing, Pearls on the Corner, Percy, Sancho Pistolas, Secondhand Ranch, Shake Shack Fishtown, Source Urban Brewery, The International, Two Robbers, WM Mulherin’s Sons, and more to be announced. If you’ve ever needed an excuse to explore beyond your usual two stops, this is the day.

Stouts and Snouts: Pork on Purpose

Part of what makes Stouts and Snouts feel so faultlessly Fishtown is the way it turns a simple theme into a full-day playground for your palate. Expect stout beer specials ranging from classic Irish pours to craft twists, plus “snout-inspired” cocktails that lean into Irish whiskey and seasonal creativity. You’ll find pork in all the forms we crave—pulled, braised, schnitzel’d, pot-pied, and costoletta’d—balanced by thoughtful alternatives for non-meat eaters who still want in on the fun. This is a lead-up-to St. Patrick’s Day celebration that doesn’t feel generic; it feels like the neighborhood showing off, in the best way. The Fishtown District is openly focusing on that community spirit.

“Fishtown District is thrilled to bring back this destination food-and-drink event to our thriving commercial corridor,” said Marc Collazzo, Executive Director of the Fishtown Kensington Area Business Improvement District. “It’s a great way to spend the day sampling creative pairings at our unique eateries and taverns while supporting local businesses. We invite everyone to join us for Stouts & Snouts, because food always tastes better when shared with friends.”

Johnny Brenda’s and The International Bar owner Paul Kimport echoed the neighborhood pride behind the day: “Through every season, Fishtown’s business community loves coming together as proud hosts to showcase the neighborhood’s energy, pride, and diversity. With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, we encourage visitors to come to the Fishtown District on March 14 to enjoy Stouts and Snouts.”

Stouts and Snouts: What to expect

Now for the part everyone really wants: the early menu peeks. Stouts and Snouts is already teasing enough specifics to start plotting your route like a strategy session. Brewery ARS (2223 Frankford Ave) is pouring FUMUS, a lightly smoked stout with honey—exactly the kind of detail that makes a day like this feel curated instead of copy-pasted. Evil Genius Beer Company (1727 N Front St) is going wide with Magically Delicious (Green IPA) alongside the I’ll Have What She’s Having Chocolate Hazelnut Imperial Stout, and they’re pairing it with a Cuban sandwich built the right way—pork shoulder, ham, Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles.

Fette Sau (1208 Frankford Ave) is leaning into comfort with Love City Sylvie Stout and a Whistlepig Maple Old Fashioned, plus Hawaiian-style pulled pork sliders braised in brown sugar, Love City stout, soy, ginger, garlic, and pineapple, finished with pineapple cabbage slaw and Love City onion marmalade mostarda. Frankford Hall (1210 Frankford) keeps it beautifully direct: Köstritzer Schwarzbier on the beer side, with sausages and pork schnitzel ready to soak up the day.

Lloyd Whiskey Bar (529 E Girard Ave) mirrors that Love City Sylvie + Whistlepig Maple Old Fashioned pairing, then adds the kind of snack-meets-statement food that makes you linger—candied bacon deviled eggs and stout-braised pork belly. Percy (1700 N. Front) is giving cozy energy with Love City Silvie and a roast pork pot pie, which feels like exactly what you want when March is still deciding whether it’s winter or spring. WM Mulherin’s Sons (1355 N. Front) is pouring Forged Nitro Irish Stout and serving pork costoletta with prosciutto, parmigiano, and baby arugula—clean, classic, and absolutely built for a stout day.

Other Half Brewing (1002 Canal Street) is making a strong case for a longer stop. They’re offering Bang On, a dry Irish stout in nitro cans, plus cans of Astor Place Winter Stout and bottles of rare barrel-aged beers including Mister Softee Cookies & Cream Split, Pineapple Headband, Snowbirds 9, Cocoa Condor, Banananversery 2026, and Betsubara. On the food side, they’re stacking options: a stout-braised BBQ pulled pork sandwich with chipotle BBQ, crispy fried onions, and jalapeños on a potato bun with slaw and fries, plus carnitas tacos, chorizo-stuffed jalapeño poppers, and grilled cheese with bacon.

There are also a few beautifully straightforward, “no-notes” stops. Bar Palmina (1306 N Front St) is listing Guinness 0, which is a smart move for anyone pacing themselves. Secondhand Ranch (1148 Frankford Avenue) goes classic with Guinness and throws a fun curveball with a hot dog topped with bacon, scallion cream cheese. The International Bar (1624 N Front St) is pouring Guinness and serving bacon baked oysters—salty, briny, and built for stout.

Shake Shack Fishtown (1359 Frankford) is keeping it iconic with the Smoke Shack, which absolutely counts as a Stouts and Snouts move when you need something reliable between bigger plates. Two Robbers (1221 Frankford) is teasing local stouts TBD plus hot dog specials, and several other spots—Barcade, Garage Fishtown, Johnny Brenda’s, Murph’s, Pearls on the Corner, Sancho Pistola’s, Source Urban Brewery—have TBDs that will fill in as the date gets closer.

And if you needed one more nudge to commit, Collazzo puts a bow on it: “Gather your crew, bring your appetite, and sip, savor, and celebrate in true Fishtown fashion. We’ll see you on Saturday, March 14, 2026, for Stouts and Snouts.” It’s hard to argue with a plan that simple.
