Best of Philly 2026 gets its official celebration on Tuesday, August 4, when Philadelphia magazine’s Best of Philly Party, presented by Penn Medicine, takes over the National Constitution Center from 6:30 to 9 pm (VIP entry begins at 5:30). It’s one of the city’s biggest annual food and drink events — dozens of top restaurants, a dozen specialty bars and lounges, live entertainment, and a room full of Philadelphians celebrating the winners of this year’s guide.

“Our 2026 Best of Philly winners are literally the very best this city has to offer — food and fun and health and beauty and shopping and so much more,” said Editor Christy Speer Lejeune. “And the party we throw each year celebrating our winners is one of the most joyful, fun nights of the year. You get to eat and drink and dance and meet fellow Philadelphians who love this city and want to engage with it.”

What’s on the Menu: Dozens of Philadelphia’s Best Restaurants

The Best of Philly 2026 party food lineup runs genuinely deep — 40-plus restaurants and food stations, including familiar names like Gnocchi’s, The Twisted Tail, Uchi, High Street, Fork, Lark, Emmett, South Philly Barbacoa, Manco & Manco, and Center City Pretzel, alongside exclusive stations from Ama, Dear Daphni, Levain Bakery, Ocho Supper Club, and Via Locusta. It’s a genuine cross-section of the city’s dining scene in one room, from South Philly institutions to some of the newest, most talked-about openings.

Specialty Lounges, Live Entertainment, and an After-Party

At the Best of Philly 2026 party, drinks get the same star treatment as the food. The Jack Daniel’s Lounge pours premium Bonded and Blackberry Lemonade cocktails alongside a live custom Jack Daniel’s statue painting — a genuinely unusual, only-at-this-party detail. Elsewhere, the Jose Cuervo Beach Lounge serves frozen margaritas, the Gunpowder Irish Gin & Tonic Bar handles the classics, and the PNC Private Bank VIP Lounge anchors the upper tier, alongside a deep bench of premium spirits including The Macallan, Hennessy, Belvedere, and Woodford Reserve.

Rounding out Best of Philly 2026, live music and entertainment come courtesy of On It Productions and BVTLive!, and the night doesn’t have to end at 9 pm — the official after-party runs at Stratus Lounge inside the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, 433 Chestnut Street.

The Best of Philly 2026 party is 21 and up, with a summer chic cocktail dress code. General admission runs $130, VIP $190, with group rates of $115 (GA) and $170 (VIP) for parties of five or more.
