Philadelphia’s new creative venue, The Story Factory, is set to host the much-anticipated CHAMELEON Art Exhibition from August 12th to August 27th, 2023. Presented by Avec Art Consulting and The Story Factory, this collaborative debut showcases the work of international art sensation Alloyius Mcilwaine alongside more than 30 leading contemporary artists from across the globe.
The CHAMELEON Art Exhibition promises to be a vibrant and dynamic display of artistic talent, celebrating Mcilwaine’s expressive use of color and geometric patterns. The collection features an eclectic mix of practices, including sculpture, painting, printmaking, drawing, and mosaic glass, uniting under positivity, light, and unity.
Alloyius Mcilwaine’s dream of creating a collaboration show has come to life with the support of his vast network of artist friends and colleagues worldwide. Embracing the challenge of working with artists from diverse mediums, styles, ages, and cultural backgrounds, Mcilwaine has crafted unique works of art that break free from traditional conventions.
The Philadelphia-born artist has built a strong reputation with his signature style, blending street art, pop art, and comic book illustration into a mesmerizing display of colors and shapes. His murals and canvases breathe life into symbolic forms called “kudoglyphs,” which carry positive affirmations in a visual language. Mcilwaine’s artistic language effortlessly merges figuration and abstraction, resulting in energetic and playful masterpieces.
Avec Art Consulting, led by Kim Pepper, produced this collaborative exhibition to fruition. Known for curatorial expertise, Pepper has seamlessly connected artists, collectors, interior designers, and businesses, creating a cohesive and enriching art experience.
The Story Factory, a 27,000 sq. foot creative hub wrapped in captivating mural art, will be the vibrant backdrop for this exceptional event. Founded by Helm Creative Studio’s Ashlee and Elijah Hollis, The Story Factory aims to build stories to empower people. With its versatile spaces, including recording studios, photography studios, customizable stages, and more, The Story Factory offers a nurturing environment for artists to bring their visions to life.
