Philadelphia’s vibrant food and drink culture comes alive once more with the return of Fishtown Taps Happy Hour, a weekly showcase of the neighborhood’s bustling food and bar scene. Starting May 27th and running every Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, nearly 30 Fishtown establishments invite locals and visitors to experience specially priced drinks, discounted appetizers, and inventive mocktails. Organized by the Fishtown District, this exciting initiative draws crowds and fuels community spirit and neighborhood energy.
The lineup for 2025 features standout establishments like Bar Palmina, Barcade, Bottle Bar East, Evil Genius Beer Company, Frankford Hall, Johnny Brenda’s, LMNO, Stateside Vodka Bar, Two Robbers, and many others. Patrons can indulge in wallet-friendly offerings such as $5 beers, $6 wines, and $7 specialty cocktails, as well as tempting deals on delicious appetizers. Notable examples include Cedar Point Bar & Kitchen’s Chicken and Waffle Sliders, Evil Genius Beer Company’s signature Lagerita, and Fette Sau’s smoky Burnt Ends Sandwich. Even mocktail enthusiasts will find ample selections, such as Barcade’s Dear Prudence featuring cherry syrup and mint.

Must-Visit Highlights at Fishtown Taps Happy Hour
Among the must-visit spots during the Fishtown Taps Happy Hour is Lloyd Whiskey Bar, where visitors can savor expertly-crafted Old Fashioneds, Negronis, and Moscow Mules alongside tasty bites like Jalapeno-Bacon Burger Sliders. For a lively atmosphere with fantastic Mexican-inspired cocktails, LMNO is a prime destination offering mouthwatering margaritas—from classic to prickly pear—as well as crowd-pleasing dishes like Esquite Fries and Chicken Taquitos.
At Punch Line Philly, guests can sample the creatively named Elixir Under the El cocktail, while Saint Lazarus Bar showcases its “Cruzin” Margarita, accented with house-made tamarind syrup. Stateside Vodka Bar’s refreshing selection of Surfsides and sparkling beverages further enriches the experience, enhancing the lively summertime ambiance.

Fishtown District Executive Director Marc Collazzo emphasizes the event’s broader benefits, highlighting how the Fishtown Taps initiative doesn’t just uplift participating venues, but supports local retail and service businesses by boosting foot traffic and fostering community pride.
The FYND app, developed by local entrepreneur Max Thalheimer, enhances the experience by connecting users with detailed listings of participating locations, real-time specials, and up-to-date event notifications, ensuring attendees never miss their favorite sip or bite.
