Le Brunch Is Pure Weekend Indulgence

Philadelphia’s brunch scene just got a refined new addition. Le Brunch, the latest weekend culinary experience from Liberté Resto Bar at Sofitel Philadelphia, elevates Saturday and Sunday dining to a luxurious French affair. Running from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each weekend, Le Brunch blends classic French technique with bold global influences, resulting in a rich and rewarding escape from the ordinary.

Helmed by acclaimed Executive Chef Sylva Senat, the menu is unapologetically indulgent, thoughtfully composed, and designed for sharing. The Le Brunch Mezze ($25) sets the tone with an artful arrangement of baba ghanoush, marinated feta, pickled beets, hummus, naan, dates, apricot, olives, and mango chutney—a globally inspired starter that’s as vibrant as it is satisfying.

For heartier appetites, the Le French Omelette ($20) combines spinach, mushroom, French ham, and Gruyère with a side of golden hash browns. The Hot Honey Fried Chicken & Waffles ($26) delivers a bold, Southern twist with a sweet-and-spicy edge, while the Le Brunch Burger ($26) arrives dripping in béarnaise aioli and topped with a fried egg, perfectly toeing the line between breakfast and lunch.

True to its name, Le Brunch leans into elegance with a 12 oz. NY Strip Steak & Egg Benedict ($48), plated with truffle fries and rich hollandaise—a showstopper for those who like their brunch with a splash of decadence. On the sweeter side, the French Toast ($18) impresses with brûléed banana, hazelnut crunch, and vanilla whipped cream.

Le Brunch: Classic French Pastries, Elevated Vibes, and Chef-Driven Flair

The Sofitel’s Pastry Chef, Chef Amanda Kaewvichien’s signature pastry program is a standout at Le Brunch, offering up flaky chocolate and almond croissants and a rich, house-made coffee cake. Available à la carte at $7 each or $18 for three, they’re the perfect pairing for a café au lait or a mimosa—or both. Complementary sides like truffle fries ($12), smoked salmon ($7), yogurt parfait ($9), and a choice of pork or turkey bacon ($7) round out the menu for guests looking to build a more personalized plate.

The setting within Liberté Resto Bar is as luxurious as the menu. With its modern French ambiance, relaxed lounge seating, and crisp service, the restaurant delivers a dining experience that feels indulgent but never over-the-top. Whether seated in the plush interior or by the windows overlooking Rittenhouse, guests are encouraged to linger, toast, and savor every bite.

“This menu is all about indulgence and togetherness,” says Chef Senat. “With Le Brunch, we wanted to create a weekend experience that celebrates both the timelessness of French technique and the excitement of global flavors.” And he’s done just that. Le Brunch invites Philadelphians to treat their weekends as they should be: slow, flavorful, and filled with culinary delight.
