Philadelphia Zoo is thrilled to announce the highly-anticipated comeback of OktoBEARfest, its signature fall beer festival. Happening on September 16 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, this adults-only event promises a night filled with authentic Oktoberfest beers, live music, tasty food trucks, and more.

The Zoo’s Peacock Pavilion will be transformed into a vibrant Bavarian beer tent, complete with Oktoberfest beers on tap and traditional competitions like stein-holding and pretzel-eating, where you can win exciting prizes. Polkadelphia, Philly’s top Oktoberfest Polka band, will add to the festive spirit with lively performances throughout the night.

Over 100 fresh, seasonal beers and ciders from renowned breweries like Warsteiner, Urban Village Brewing Company, Big Oyster Brewery, Conshohocken Brewing Company, and Evil Genius Beer Company will be available for sampling. This year’s OktoBEARfest will allow you to explore a wide range of flavors and discover new favorites.

Hungry for some delicious treats to pair with your beers? Fear not! The region’s best food trucks, including BYZ. Empire, Deke’s BBQ, Wokworks, Bonjour Creperie, The Munchy Machine, and Bacon on a Stick will serve mouthwatering sweet and savory options, ensuring a delightful culinary experience.

OktoBEARfest is not just about good times and good brews; it’s also a fundraiser supporting the Philadelphia Zoo’s mission to protect animals and their habitats. Tickets for OktoBEARfest are available exclusively through philadelphiazoo.org, and you’ll want to snag yours early for significant savings. From July 19 to July 31, Early Access tickets are available from 6 to 10 pm for $75. General Admission tickets from 7 to 10 pm cost $55. From August 1 to August 15, Early Access tickets from 6 to 10 pm cost $85, while General Admission tickets from 7 to 10 pm cost $65. From August 16 to September 10, Early Access tickets from 6 to 10 pm cost $90, while General Admission tickets from 7 to 10 pm cost $70. Lastly, from September 11 to September 16, Early Access tickets from 6 to 10 pm cost $95, while General Admission tickets from 7 to 10 pm cost $75.

If you’re not planning on drinking, you can purchase a ticket for just $35. And if you’re a Zoo Member, enjoy a $5 discount on your tickets.

With your OktoBEARfest ticket, you get more than just a beer-tasting experience. You’ll enjoy free parking or shuttle service from 30th Street Station, entry to the Zoo with access to select animal exhibits, unlimited beer and cider samples, access to the Bavarian Beer Hall for the competitions, and live music by Polkadelphia.
