Get ready to raise your stein and celebrate the return of fall with a Bavarian twist! Philadelphia Zoo is thrilled to announce the highly-anticipated comeback of OktoBEARfest, its signature fall beer festival. Happening on September 16 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, this adults-only event promises a night filled with authentic Oktoberfest beers, live music, tasty food trucks, and more.

The Zoo’s Peacock Pavilion will be transformed into a vibrant Bavarian beer tent, complete with Oktoberfest beers on tap and traditional competitions like stein-holding and pretzel-eating, where you can win exciting prizes. Polkadelphia, Philly’s top Oktoberfest Polka band, will add to the festive spirit with lively performances throughout the night.

Over 100 fresh, seasonal beers and ciders from renowned breweries like Warsteiner, Urban Village Brewing Company, Big Oyster Brewery, Conshohocken Brewing Company, and Evil Genius Beer Company will be available for sampling. This year’s OktoBEARfest will allow you to explore a wide range of flavors and discover new favorites.

Hungry for some delicious treats to pair with your beers? Fear not! The region’s best food trucks, including BYZ. Empire, Deke’s BBQ, Wokworks, Bonjour Creperie, The Munchy Machine, and Bacon on a Stick will serve mouthwatering sweet and savory options, ensuring a delightful culinary experience.

OktoBEARfest is not just about good times and good brews; it’s also a fundraiser supporting the Philadelphia Zoo’s mission to protect animals and their habitats.
