Bees Deluxe at Jamey’s House of Music

Bees Deluxe, an acid blues band from Boston, takes the stage at Jamey’s House of Music in Lansdowne, PA, on Saturday, May 27th.

Bees Deluxe is a British/American band that blends musical genres with complexity, thoughtfulness, emotion, and playfulness. Performing a list of original songs as well as creative covers of tracks by artists like Billie Holiday, Etta James, Jimi Hendrix, and Joe Zawinul, Bees Deluxe will begin entertaining at 7 pm.

British guitarist Conrad Warre leads the band, with Carol Band on keyboards, harmonica, and vocals. Jim Gildea on bass and vocals and Paul Giovine on drums and percussion round out the lineup. The members bring their distinctive backgrounds and musical experiences, including playing in New England’s jazz and punk rock venues and touring Europe with notable bands such as the English Beat and the Joe Jackson Band.
