Manayunk Stroll After Hours returns to Main Street Manayunk for four Thursday nights this July — July 9, 16, 23, and 30, from 6 to 10pm — turning the strip into an open-air summer destination with live music, outdoor movies, food trucks, local artists, and enough kid-friendly activity to make it a genuine family night out, not just a bar crawl with better weather.

Four Thursdays, Four Different Nights

Every Manayunk Stroll After Hours date runs the same basic structure in a different order: live music at either Grape Street or Cotton Street, an outdoor movie at dusk at the other, and a steady rotation of Starfinder Soccer Activation, Interactive Art with Aaron Birk, Lucky’s Artist Alley, and kids activities with North Light Community Center at every single date. Bring your own chair for the movies.

July 9 opens with Ridge Runners — an emerging Philly rock band blending indie, classic rock, and alternative — live at Grape Street, paired with Kicking and Screaming at dusk on Cotton Street. July 16 brings Andorra, a Philadelphia-based alternative rock group, to Cotton Street, with Twilight screening on Grape Street.

July 23 features rising singer-songwriter Chris Rafter, whose alternative and country-folk-rock sound has earned regional acclaim, alongside School of Rock at dusk. The series closes July 30 with Nervous Nikki and the Chill Pills — an indie rock band known for mixing rock, folk, and hip-hop influences — and a screening of Toy Story. Four genuinely different nights, spanning family comedy to teen romance to a kids’ classic, depending on which Thursday you show up.

Food trucks at Manayunk Stroll After Hours rotate weekly, with a genuinely wide range across the series — Bingtanghulu, Kanto Filipino BBQ, Shugarshack Soulfood, PUT a Egg on it, MOZZAREPAS, and Calaveras Street Tacos all make appearances at different Stroll After Hours dates, alongside standbys like A Taste Of Philly and Los Gallos Restaurant. Beyond Manayunk Stroll After Hours itself, participating shops, restaurants, and businesses extend their hours and run special promotions on Stroll After Hours nights, so the whole strip stays open and active well past a normal Thursday close. If weather forces a cancellation on any date, the rain date is Thursday, August 6.
