Parx Casino Hotel is opening for the first time, giving Bucks County an overnight option that didn’t exist the last time the Xcite Center booked a run this loaded. Parxview Hotel arrives just as the venue lines up four genuinely different nights this fall: a ’90s dance-and-hip-hop throwback, a hard rock bill, a co-headline rock show, and an R&B anniversary tour.
Parx Casino Hotel Turns an Overnight Stay Into the Destination
Parxview Hotel sits steps from the casino floor and roughly 20 minutes from Center City, with 160 rooms split across four categories, including 16 suites. “This hotel transforms Parx into a true overnight destination, allowing guests to enjoy everything we offer from gaming and dining to live entertainment while enjoying the comfort and sophistication of a premier hotel experience,” said Eric Hausler, CEO at Parx Casino.
Amenities include complimentary parking, a fitness center, a fully smoke-free environment, and The Bistro at Parxview Hotel for elevated casual dining, alongside a complimentary shuttle connecting the hotel directly to the casino floor.
Parx Casino Hotel’s Fall Run Opens With a ’90s Throwback
The I Love the 90’s Tour kicks off September 26 with Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli featuring Fab Morvan, C+C Music Factory, and Young MC sharing one stage. Morvan brings the sharpest current storyline of the night: a 2025 Grammy nomination for his memoir audiobook, decades after the lip-syncing scandal that defined Milli Vanilli’s early fame, following a 2023 Tribeca documentary and a 2024 film that’s driven a real streaming resurgence for the group’s catalog.
Vanilla Ice headlines behind “Ice Ice Baby,” still one of hip-hop’s most recognizable singles, while C+C Music Factory’s Freedom Williams and Young MC round out a bill built entirely around songs that once owned every school dance and club floor in America.
Parx Casino Hotel’s Rock Nights Bring Real Comeback Stories
Sebastian Bach headlines October 23 with Guns N’ Roses’ Steven Adler as his special guest, touring behind Child Within the Man, his first solo album in a decade. Bach built the record’s artwork from two of his late father’s paintings, decades apart, layered so that, in his words, “I’m essentially running into myself on stage.” He’s also Broadway’s first heavy metal singer, a distinction earned through a lead role in Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical.
Fuel and LIT follow on November 6. Fuel’s 2021 reunion brought founder Carl Bell and longtime drummer Kevin Miller back together after a falling-out, reconciled through a single phone call Miller made from his own kitchen, joined by new members Aaron Scott, Mark Klotz, and Tommy Nat for Ånomåly, the band’s first album together in 18 years.
LIT, one of the defining bands of SoCal post-grunge power-punk, brings a catalog built on “My Own Worst Enemy” and “Miserable” alongside six studio albums, including the RIAA-certified Platinum A Place in the Sun.
Parx Casino Hotel’s Fall Run Closes With Jodeci
Jodeci closes the run on Thursday, November 19, marking 35 years since their debut album Forever My Lady hit #1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart in its first week. The group has topped that chart three separate times across their career, sold more than 20 million records worldwide, and returned from a 2021 reunion straight into a 30-city run alongside Charlie Wilson and New Edition.
All four shows land inside the Xcite Center, part of Parx’s own $50 million expansion, a 30,000-square-foot room with more than 1,500 seats that’s already hosted Elton John, Chicago, and Third Eye Blind. It’s the same entertainment tier other regional casinos have leaned into as competition for Philadelphia’s nightlife dollar keeps growing.
A casino booking a strong concert lineup isn’t new. A casino giving people an actual reason to stay past last call, rather than driving home at midnight, is the part of this fall season that changes what Parx is actually competing to be.
