VIVA Padel & Pickleball Has a Full July of Tournaments, Mixers, and a Happy Hour With Pickle Juice Shots

VIVA Padel & Pickleball Club has a full July lineup — tournaments, themed nights like Rosé & Rallies and Battle of the Levels, and a new weekly Friday Happy Hour with discounted court time and Pickle Juice Shots.

VIVA Padel & Pickleball Club, Philadelphia’s first dedicated outdoor racquet sports facility, has a genuinely full July — themed nights, tournaments, and a brand-new weekly happy hour built around one very specific detail: Pickle Juice Shots. As padel keeps growing across the U.S. and pickleball holds its ground, VIVA Padel & Pickleball has become one of the city’s most active places to actually play both.

VIVA Padel & Pickleball July Lineup: Mixers, Tournaments, and Theme Nights

The social side of the calendar starts July 10 with the Bring-a-Friend Padel Mixer (6–8 pm), followed by Rosé & Rallies Ladies Night on July 16 (6:30–8:30 pm) — social play and refreshments open to all skill levels — and Bros, Beers, & Backhands on July 23 (6:30–8:30 pm), the men’s answer with friendly competition and drinks. Every one of these leans more social than competitive; good entry points if you’re newer to either sport.

For the more competitive crowd, July 10 also brings a DUPR Pickleball Tournament for 2.5–3.0 level players (6–10 pm), Mixed Advanced Night hits July 13 for high-level padel play (6:30–9 pm), Battle of the Levels runs July 18 with Men’s and Women’s A & B divisions (9:30 am–1 pm), and the month closes July 25 with the Padel & Pickleball Olympics, an Olympic-inspired event for intermediate-plus players (10 am–12:30 pm).

Friday Happy Hour, Sunset Padel, and Pickle Juice Shots

The new standing program worth building your Fridays around: VIVA’s Happy Hour, every Friday in July from 5 to 9 pm, with discounted court time — $25 for non-members, $18 for members and college students. And yes, Pickle Juice Shots are on offer, because apparently no pickleball happy hour is complete without them. “Our goal is to create one of the most fun summer destinations in Philadelphia,” said Mehdi Rhazali, Co-Founder and CEO of VIVA Padel & Pickleball.

Beyond July’s specific events, VIVA Padel & Pickleball runs Sunset Padel every Tuesday and Thursday (6:30–8 pm) and Work From Home Friday, with court rates at $35 an hour for pickleball and $80 an hour for padel for non-members — members pay significantly less on both. Between the standing weekly programming and a July calendar this stacked, VIVA Padel & Pickleball has given Philadelphia plenty of reasons to show up more than once this month. Grab a friend, grab a paddle, and maybe grab a pickle juice shot while you’re at it.
