If the mere mention of “I want my baby back, baby back, baby back” has you humming along, you’re not alone. Chili’s, the cherished grill and bar, has teamed up with ’90s sensation Boyz II Men to breathe new life into their iconic Baby Back Ribs jingle. The harmonizing maestros, known for their soulful tunes, have lent their Grammy-winning sound to this beloved melody, giving it a smooth ’90s-inspired makeover.

Boyz II Men, reflecting on the unexpected connection between the original jingle and their 1997 album “Evolution,” expressed their excitement about re-releasing the Baby Back Ribs Jingle. “It feels natural for us to re-release the Baby Back Ribs Jingle and pay homage to Chili’s legendary menu item in a nostalgic way. We are excited for our and Chili’s fans to have ‘I Want My Baby Back’ replaying in their minds for yet another decade,” the group shared.

The jingle takes center stage in a series of advertisements set to run across streaming services, online platforms, and social media throughout November. Chili’s invites fans to join the fun by using the ‘Duet’ feature on TikTok to add their personal flair to the jingle or incorporating it into their favorite Spotify playlists.

For those eager to own a piece of this musical history, Chili’s Online Merch shop offers a limited-edition vinyl featuring the Boyz II Men version of the jingle. Additionally, fans can rock a ’90s-inspired Boyz II Men tour t-shirt, creating a perfect fusion of music and culinary nostalgia.

George Felix, Chili’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed enthusiasm for this nostalgic reboot, stating, “We are embracing our history and the things that make Chili’s such a beloved brand.” This collaboration pays homage to the original jingle while allowing Boyz II Men to infuse it with their timeless sound. Felix added, “We can’t wait to watch our fans make their own versions of the jingle on TikTok!”
