Jet Wine Bar Fall 2026 comes down to one idea: wine is the easiest way into history. Wednesdays now belong to a blind tasting, and a scavenger hunt runs through November 30. Once a month, Jill Weber also hosts a tasting built around a story from the past.
The bar at 1525 South Street built the season to close out Philadelphia’s Semiquincentennial year through an ancient-world lens. That’s an odd angle for a 250th anniversary, and a good one.
The Jet Wine Bar Fall 2026 Blind Wine Tasting
The Blind Wine Tasting Experience started September 23 and runs every Wednesday. It costs $25 per person for three half-pours and a tasting card, and each week brings a different flight, so there’s nothing to study ahead of time.
You write three to five tasting notes on the card to guide your final guesses. Each card carries a QR code that opens a custom website, where you can earn more hints until the bar reveals the wines. It works like a wine quiz with a clue system, and the hints are what keep it from being a coin flip.

Jet Set: The Jet Wine Bar Fall 2026 Scavenger Hunt
Jet Set is a three-month scavenger hunt for wine and history lovers. Each month, the bar posts a new prompt on Instagram at @jetwinebar, inspired by places, traditions, and cultures. Finish the missions for a chance at two tickets to the December wine tasting, Bring on the Fireworks.
September’s mission is Place and History. You visit Independence Hall or any UNESCO World Heritage Site and snap a photo, with no tour or ticket required. Philadelphia is a World Heritage City, and Independence Hall is the obvious stop. Show the photo to a team member at the bar to enter the prize drawing.
September is over, but entries are accepted until the last day of the challenge, November 30, so there’s still time to go back. October’s mission is Process and Tradition, and November’s is Culture. The bar says more details will be announced in each of those months.
Each completed monthly mission earns one entry in the grand-prize drawing. Finish all three, and you get a bonus entry, and so do existing Jet Wine Club members. That caps the total at five.

Jet Wine Bar Fall 2026 Monthly Tastings With Jill Weber
Each month Weber hosts an intimate, themed tasting that blends wine with history and leans on seasonal elements. Tickets are $79 per person, which covers three 5-ounce pours, light snacks, tax, and gratuity. They’re sold on the bar’s events page.
October’s tasting, Unconventional: Traditional Technique, Ancient Roots, Fresh Flavors, runs Tuesday, October 13 and Wednesday, October 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. In November, Murder on the Orient Express: Tasting Killer Terroir lands on Tuesday, November 17 and Wednesday, November 18.
December closes the year with Bring on the Fireworks: Bubbles that Really Pop, on Wednesday, December 16 and Thursday, December 17. It’s the tasting Jet Set’s grand prize gets into. Check the events page for the November and December start times.
Jet Wine Bar Fall 2026 Builds on a Programming Habit
None of this is new behavior for the South Street bar. In 2023, it ran Winetail Week, four days in late May of wine-based cocktails. A year later it hosted a Tenango Rum pop-up on a Friday in July.
What’s different this season is that the programs feed each other. The hunt sends you out into the city for history, and the tastings bring it back to the table. Jet isn’t alone in pairing a pour with the past, either. A four-part series on colonial drinking history is already underway at historic landmarks.

Booking Jet Wine Bar Fall 2026 Events
The blind tasting is $25 a head on Wednesdays, and the monthly tastings are sold online. Jet Set entries happen at the bar, where a team member checks your photo, and the Instagram account posts each month’s prompt.
The city has spent 2026 looking back 250 years. Jet Wine Bar is looking back a good deal further, one pour at a time, and a glass is a better classroom than most.
