Jay-Z’s Made in America returns to Philly for Labor Day Weekend 2022 on the Ben Franklin Parkway.
No sooner than The Roots Picnic drops the curtain on its annual outdoor Philly affair, Jay-Z’s even larger (geographically), prominent local festival event – Made in America 2022 – drops its information for its usual Labor Day weekend.
Now in its 10th year of performance, the September 3 and 4 live music party is headlined by Bad Bunny and Tyler, The Creator as the names atop the fold with Roots Picnic performer, and Philadelphia’s own Jazmine Sullivan joining the card with additional showcases from Lil Uzi Vert (of course, also from Philly), Burna Boy, Pusha T, Snoh Aalegra, Kodak Black, Lil Tjay, Tate McRae, Fuerza Regida, Toro Y Moi, Babyface Ray, Key Glock, Larry June, Rels B, Victoria Monét, Chimbala, Ryan Castro and more to be announced shortly.
Yes, Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia is its host location, so expect bitchy neighbors complaining about the noise. Yes, Hova’s Cause Village will be returning, highlighting groups like Black Voters Matter, HeadCount, ACCT Philly Animal Welfare, United in Community, and more to showcase the incredible work and support these organizations provide. And, yes, tickets go on sale now.
