SNACKTIME is finally coming home after touring the country. They’re wrapping up their SNACKTIME Saturdays at The Oval with a grand finale on Saturday, August 24, at 8 p.m. This free concert will be the band’s first significant public performance in Philadelphia this year.
During the pandemic, SNACKTIME emerged, performing free shows at Rittenhouse Square in Philly. Their shows drew large crowds and symbolized positivity and emotional release, highlighting the city’s rich musical history and community.
SNACKTIME’s highly-anticipated return to Philadelphia comes after gaining national recognition and supporting Portugal. The Man on their U.S. tours earlier this year. Up next for the band is an opening slot on Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe the Mason-Diesel Line tour this fall and the release of their studio EP, recorded and produced by GRAMMY-nominated Will Yip.
SNACKTIME Saturdays at The Oval kicked off in mid-July as a weekly concert series featuring live performances by the band’s favorite artists throughout the summer. The series wraps up on Saturday, August 24, with SNACKTIME headlining and SIBBY LIV opening the show.
