Concerts at The Commons: Snacktime Headlines Doylestown Series

Concerts at The Commons brings free live music to Doylestown every Thursday in May — Snacktime headlines May 14, plus Sug Daniels, Driftwood, and Fat Mezz. Presented by Stage United.

Concerts at The Commons returns to Doylestown every Thursday night this May with a four-week run of free outdoor shows presented by Stage United and Doylestown Borough Council. The headliner announcement is a strong one — Philadelphia favorites Snacktime take the stage on May 14, supported by Doylestown’s own Space Jazz outfit Cola Core. The series runs May 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Commons, and every show is free and open to the public. For a region where original music programming for all ages remains scarce, Concerts at The Commons fills a gap that most suburban calendars leave wide open.

The Full Lineup for Concerts at The Commons

Concerts at The Commons opens May 7 with Sug Daniels — folk, rock, and jammy undertones — supported by the ethereal Clover Stieve. May 14 brings the headlining set from Snacktime with Cola Core. Upstate New York folk rockers Driftwood take the stage May 21, supported by NEPA-based fiddle player Kaitlynn Casper of Serene Green. South Jersey rockers Fat Mezz close out Concerts at The Commons on May 28 with support from local Americana band Hay Sugar. The bill balances regional touring acts with homegrown talent across all four weeks, giving each Thursday its own identity rather than running variations on a single genre.

Snacktime’s trajectory over the last six years — from Rittenhouse Square to Red Rocks and everywhere in between — makes them a genuine headline draw for a free outdoor series in Bucks County. Stage United founder Joe Montone has been a longtime champion of the group, booking them in 2022 for his Picnics On Pine series in Doylestown and tapping them that same year to kick off the Abington Art Center Summer Concert Series when he was appointed as series producer. Bringing Snacktime back to Concerts at The Commons is not a discovery play — it is a reunion between an artist and a community that watched them grow.

Stage United and the Mission Behind Concerts at The Commons

Since its founding in 2024, Stage United has been reshaping the live music ecosystem across Bucks County by creating a fundraising model that supports both intimate performances and large-scale community concerts. Montone, a lifelong Bucks native, produces Concerts at The Commons alongside the Abington Art Center Summer Concert Series, Picnics On Pine, and A Night of Song — a concert series held inside the historic Big Room at The TileWorks. The Philadelphia region’s outdoor concert calendar has been expanding steadily, and Stage United’s approach in Doylestown — dynamic bills at unexpected venues, free admission, all-ages access — is building the kind of sustainable arts infrastructure that turns occasional concertgoers into regulars.

Concerts at The Commons runs every Thursday in May 2026 — May 7, 14, 21, and 28 — from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Commons in Doylestown Borough. All shows are free and open to the public.
